Mevagissey is a fishing harbour in Cornwall named after two Irish saints, St Meva and St Issey. The village dates back to at least 1313 but it was during the 1800s that Mevagissey prospered on the back of the abundant source of pilchards out to sea. This picturesque village still has a working harbour although it also caters to the tourist trade offering fishing trips to visitors. A high quality Giclee print which is gallery wrapped and comes with an individualised Certificate of Authenticity. The print has an antique white mount and will fit a ready-made 40cm x 40cm frame.
